POWER OF SOUND: An immersive journey in 5 vignettes

It was a really big idea. And it took the right team, the right time. We had a dream team, an “off” evening at the ANA Masters of Marketing, and a hotel hallway.

Conference activations follow a familiar script—booths, signage, giveaways, and sometimes a live sales pitch. We threw out the typical conference script: booth+
signage+giveaway.

Instead, we  immersed senior brand-side marketers and industry decision-makers in an audio-rich environment through five interactive vignettes—from storytelling with Grammy-nominated poet Sekou Andrews to everyday soundscapes, live concerts, and the energy of sports events.

I played a creative mentorship role in pushing team members to think bigger and jump in with sleeves rolled up.

Results

2,500 marketers engaged with our ‘Power of Sound’ experience. The activation sparked widespread buzz, with industry leaders, clients, and partners praising the experience. When the ANA called it "one of the best nights we’ve had at ANA," we knew we had set a new standard for conference activations—transforming passive engagement into memorable, conversation-driving, and conversion-focused moments.

And, we won! 2025 Best in B2B from the Association of National Advertisers. But more than that, we pushed the limit of possible.
